About our Marketing Specialist role


Our Marketing Specialist role sits within our Livelyhood Central Support Team and reports into our Head of Marketing & Events.


Supported by the Head of Marketing & Events you will work closely with our sites to support them across all aspects of Marketing and enable Livelyhood to be in the best position as the business grows.

This is a Monday to Friday role, mainly during office hours.  The role is based across our Livelyhood sites (mostly SW London) and we’re open to some flexible homeworking too which will be discussed with each candidate at interview.



Your key responsibilities:




-         Taking on-brand photos, & organising & managing photo shoots.

-         Managing our social accounts & posting daily content to amplify our messages.

-         Managing the Facebook pixel, running ads & testing to improve performance.

-         Developing social strategy & growing following across platforms inc. FB, IG, Twitter & launch TikTok.




-         Managing website, maintaining website copy & imagery via CMS.

-         Developing website SEO & PPC strategy inc. blog writing & audits.

-         Managing & monitoring Google Analytics & Ads & managing our attribution model.

-         Managing digital platforms inc. menu connect,

-         Driving customer loyalty & retention through our digital channels.




-         Writing & sending press releases for the group.

-         Building press relationships & getting Livelyhood featured in press for key events, offers & launches.

-         Suggesting award entries & applying on behalf of the group.

-         Monitoring & managing online reputation.

-         Developing local relationships, supporting on delivering community & charity activity.




-         Developing CRM strategy & ensuring systems integrated.

-         Writing & sending newsletters for the group.

-         Writing & managing automation journeys to drive retention & build our brand.

-         Growing subscribership of our CRM through initiatives & campaigns.

-         Analysing & segmenting our audience to target customers with specific offers.




-         Marketing report with suggestions & forward actions.

-         Measuring ROI & performance across initiatives & suggesting improvements.

-         Staying on top of trends, marketing & digital updates, & conducting competitor research.

-         Delivering against the marketing strategy & KPIs.

-         Supporting on creating & delivering marketing, events & sports calendars.




-         Managing all marketing collateral including menus, POS & campaign creatives.

-         Ensuring all collateral is on brand & to a high standard.
