Detailed Job Description

Situated on Steep Hill, Browns Pie Shop is in the heart of historic Cathedral City of Lincoln and is one of the city’s favourite dining establishments.
Browns now have a fantastic opportunity for a keen chef to join their team, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation including filleting and butchery
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control

Qualifications Required

None required, however, maths & English will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Future Prospects

Successful apprentice will be offered a full time position at the end of their training.

Other Information

Earliest start time can be 06.30am and latest finish can be 10.30pm.
