This 17th century coaching inn is situated at the top of the historic town of Wotton-Under-Edge, close to a free public car park and next to the Town Hall. The Swan has a wealth of charm and character, enhanced by original features including beamed ceilings and exposed walls plus log fires.
We have been recently refurbished throughout the hotel and we will continue to improve the hotel rooms this year, planning to add another four rooms. We currently have eight traditional well-equipped bedrooms, seven are ensuite, and one of the rooms has shared facilities. Two of the rooms have a linking door that can be made into a family suite.

Situated under the leafy edge of the Cotswold Way, The Swan Hotel is a converted 17th century coaching inn that seamlessly blends modern comforts with traditional touches to create a unique hotel experience. Situated in the heart of Wotton-under-Edge, The Swan offers thirteen beautiful recently refurbished en-suite guest rooms, a light and airy restaurant offering freshly cooked food, and cosy bar and snug that retain a local fee
The Swan have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join their front of house team, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Qualification.
Duties to include:
You will be trained to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant
You will learn how to operate the Reception desk and diary and till system
You will be responsible for Food Safety and Health & Safety
You will be first point of contact when greeting customers, so you must enjoy talking to people and be able to provide excellent Customer service at all times

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
