Supervisor, Hercules Pillars

Wanted: Someone who's hard working, fast thinking, can multi task as a second nature, and provide great banter to our fantastic locals.

At The Hercules Pillars, we're on the look out for two new supervisors for our floor and bar, to help take us to the next level.

We're a small traditional English pub, serving a great range of real ales, an international variety of lagers and great homely food, in the heart of busy Holborn.

You would be responsible for the day to day running of either the floor or bar, making sure everything our team need to operate at 100% is in place, and helping support the General Manager and Assistant Managers.

  • Manager/Senior Assistant Manager/Assistant Manager

 

Essential requirements

You must:

  • Be eligible or have all necessary documentation in which to be legally employed in the country, which you are based.
  • All Documentation required by any Local/Regional/National certifying or governing bodies in which to operate legally within you units country
  • Have a up to date/active bank account in your own name
  • Be able to converse Fluently in English and the native language of the country in which your Unit Operates
  • Where live in accommodation is not provided. Have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the unit

  • To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all of our customers. To supervise, train and motivate others, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers

Maintaining Controls and Standards

  • Assist in the opening and closing of the unit
  • Assist in keeping the unit clean and safe
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
  • Maintain accurate stock control, including ordering, delivery checks, line checks and wastage

  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and attending course
  • Engage with your line manager at all times about your own personal and professional development and how Beds and Bars can assist
