This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join the team in the kitchen at the Queens Head. Full training will be given and you will also achieve your Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship.
Duties to include
- Preparing and cooking dishes using fresh ingredients
- keeping a clean & safe working environment as per company policies and procedures
- plating up
- stock rotation
- making starters and desserts, moving onto mains once competencies achieved

As we do split shifts you must live close by or have your own transport. Relying on lifts would not work as this would mean 4 journeys in a day. Please check your postcode on google to see how you would get to us and if there are reliable bus routes.

Things to consider
We open 7 days a week, we work on a rota system but you must be prepared to work weekends (sunday is a 9am start - full day shift) in the week we do split shifts which means two smaller shifts on the same day.
No experience as full training given, must however be very keen to work in a kitchen and not be afraid of hard work.
