The person will need to be available Monday –Friday 9am -3pm and occasional Saturdays 9am-2PM. Plus holiday and sickness cover.
The role entails home cooked meals and sandwiches and providing face to face customer service.
To assist in outside catering events for Birthdays, weddings, christenings and funerals as required.
Person must be able to work as part of a team, using initiative to work autonomously.
Supervision and onsite training is provided by the manager or supervisor on shift, as part of the induction the apprentice will be expected to complete and have understanding of the in house policies and procedures.
Apprentice is required to undertake level 2 in health and hygiene e-learning provided by AM2PM catering services.
Dedicated time with be given for tutorials from Hit training during working hours bi- monthly.
1.Prepare the shop each morning for customers.
2.To make individual sandwiches as per order. (hot and Cold)
3.To assist in the preparation and presentation for outside catering as required.
4.To Maintain health and hygiene regulations, ensure the the shop remains presentable through out the day.
5.To have input around receipt and ordering of stock and the rotation of provisions within the guidelines from environmental health.
6.To be familiar around ledgislation in releation to the health and safety at work act.
7.To be involed in deep cleaning of the shop as and when required.
