Detailed Job Description

The Stack Lounge is a new sports bar in Sheffield who are passionate about food and sports!
They are looking for an apprentice to join their kitchen team, alongside learning the trade the successful applicant will be working towards gaining their Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Qualification.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control

Skills Required

Good communication skills
Able to take instructions
Able to work as part of a team
Able to work under pressure

Personal Qualities

Good Levels of personal hygiene
Candidates must be able to use initiative
Willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge

Qualifications Required

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Future Prospects

The successful candidate will have the opportunity of a full time position after successful completion of their qualification. There is also the opportunity to develop through the company to more senior role.

Wage is negotiable on an individual basis.
