KITCHEN HAND (ASSISTANT/KP)

We need help with the upkeep of our kitchen and take pride in it. 

This is a cleaning position with min cooking duties. although lots of delicious food and nice people to work with .

Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible;

Deep cleaning tasks freezers ovens shelving floor throughout the week;

Collect and wash up pots and pans/mixing bowls/any cooking utensils;

Clean and sanitize food preparation areas and equipment in addition to crockery and cutlery;

Unload food and equipment deliveries put away following FIFO practice and Food safety recording:

Keep the drystores/ staff/ storeroom organised; Keep work surfaces walls and floors clean and sanitised;

Organise laundry / wash dry;

Take out bins

Do daily checks cleaning checks fridge temp recording in line with HACCP

Experience of working in professional kitchens essential.

Food handling certificate level 2
