Detailed Job Description
Farmer Palmers is an award winning family attraction in Dorset. In their restaurant they guarantee all of their main dishes are made by their friendly team. Cooking from scratch, the traditional way. They cater for adults & children, using fresh ingredients , top quality pork, lamb, beef or chicken. The vegetables will be peeled on the day and if the children need chips, they still do those too!
Farmer Palmers now have an opportunity for a keen apprentice to join their friendly kitchen team, learn the trade and gain a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
