Detailed Job Description

The Salwey Arms is superbly located on the borders of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, they are all about championing local produce, from their pedigree Hereford beef through to locally brewed beer.
the Salwey Arms has a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Chef to join the busy kitchen team, learn the trade alongside working to gain a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Your duties will include -
Food preparation & cooking of a variety of meals
Assisting with daily and weekly cleaning schedules
Supporting the team of Chef's during service
Organising stock and keeping areas tidy
HACCP
Being responsible for Food Safety & Health & Safety.

Qualifications Required

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Future Prospects

You will be working towards a full time role at the end of your Apprenticeship should there be one available.

30 hours a week to include evenings and weekends
