A fantastic opportunity has a risen for this charming established City style Tavern to be a part of the new Premium food format division in the bustle area of Angel in the City of London and near the shopping centre.

This is a lovely corner located pub known for its craft beers, cask ales, cocktails and wines.

The Angelic is a 2-minute walk from Angel station has 2 floors with a kitchen operation on upper floor with a dining room/drinks room on the upper floor which is also available for private hire.

This site also boasts the addition of live sport across 2 floors that compliments the offer and doesn’t overshadow the charm of the pub.

The successful candidate must be an experienced operator within food and drink sector due to expectation of customers in this Premium/City Taverns site. We pride ourselves on delivering enhanced service with personality within our charming unique pubs and bars.

A Passion to win with an entrepreneurial mind-set is essential to take this business forward, whilst delivering the existing daytime & early evening service it’s critical to be driving the evening sales with an uplifting transition and atmosphere.

Our successful candidate with have strong people skills to keep retention high and ideally knowledge of the London or surrounding areas to understand the different customer demographics and service expectations from corporate white collar, shoppers and commuters throughout the week. The site opens Monday to Sundays.

This is a charming London pub style one bar operation with a second floor, that can also be used for functions and private hire. Additionally, TV’s to maximise private hire and opportunities such as digital quiz’s and terrestrial TV events. The bar is vibrant in the summer with people outside drinking area’s, plus inside with TV’s live sport and good food offer with daily specials.

The successful applicant must be experienced of managing a similar style business and of consistently delivering weekly sales in excess of £20,000 and ability to control costs and deliver profit budget. You will also be able to demonstrate positively managing various customer profiles and strong leadership.

As a General Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and
the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all
aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and
brand integrity.

We require all our General Managers to hold a Personal License.
