Balcarras now have a fantastic opportunity for a keen chef to join their kitchen, learn the trade and gain a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Main Duties & Responsibilities -
All aspects of food preparation and cooking
Kitchen Hygiene and COSHH training
Food Service & Customer focus
Food Hygiene regulations
Health & Safety regulations
Able to work on own initiative within the regulations
Quick learner and able to take direction when required
Confidence in communicating with a predominantly young customer base
High Standards of personal hygiene
Enthusiastic about a career in the catering industry.
None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
You have to be aged 16 years or over and you also need to be a resident in England and not taking part in full-time education.
You will be working towards a full time role at the end of your Apprenticeship should one be available
