Accounts Assistant
We are currently seeking an exceptional Finance Assistant to join our busy centralised finance team at Firmdale Hotels
Based at our South Kensington office, this is an exciting opportunity for an existing finance assistant looking for their next career step within a successful 5 star hospitality group
Job role and responsibilities:
As a Finance assistant you will support the rest of the finance team in providing accurate and timely information whilst gaining a wide range of financial experience
Main duties will include (but not limited to)
- Produce and circulate the daily revenue reports for all properties
- Process invoices and expenses
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Oversee TA Commissions payments
- Process group petty cash claims
- Prepare finance reconciliations
- Maintain cashbooks and foreign currency records
- Support to the finance team as required
Requirements:
- Proven previous experience in a busy hotel or finance department
- Working knowledge of Opera
- Previous experience using finance software
- Enthusiastic and confident manner
- Strong Communication skills and attention to detail
- Finance Qualification (desirable but not essential)
