We have a great opportunity for an experienced General Manager to lead our team at one of the premier venues in the ever-growing Slug and Lettuce family.
This venue is a multi-floor operation in the heart of Cardiff and a stone’s throw from the Principality stadium and benefits from a high-footfall throughout the day, from brunch to late night.
Despite the challenges of Covid restrictions across the year, the Venue has performed well and it is exciting to consider where we can go when the restrictions are lifted in the future.
Slug and Lettuce Cardiff Central is located in the city centre on St.Mary Street which is seen as the evening destination within the City.
The site is located very closely to the 74,500 capacity Principality Stadium, the national stadium of Wales.
The venue is split over multiple levels with 2 main floors, a smaller lower ground floor to the rear and a smaller “mezzanine” floor in the middle of the stairway. There is a large bar on both main floors.
Pre-booking is a large part of the staple trade here, and capacity management is key, especially during large concerts or sporting events at the nearby stadium.
This venue also benefits from a fantastic outdoor space to the front, and from a secondary customer access to the rear.
