We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our highly successful team here at Firmdale Hotels. Your main responsibility will be to oversee the daily operation of the restaurant, working alongside senior management and team members, to ensure that the highest level of customer service is being delivered and the expectations of our guests are consistently exceeded.

Essential Key Skills
• Prior experience as a Restaurant or F&B supervisor in a fast paced, luxury venue
• Demonstrate a key passion for Food and Beverage
• Extensive knowledge of food, drink, quality products and ingredients
• Confidence to understand our Food and Beverage menu in regards to its contents, mis-en-place and condiments
• Understanding of the current market and an idea of who our potential competitors are
• Previous experience managing and developing a team
• Capable of motivating a team through training and solid leadership
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate with the different departments of the hotel
• Excellent attention to detail which drives you to deliver inspirational service to all of our guests

Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee the general day to day management and running of the restaurant and bar
• Establish strong and professional relationships with our guests, ensuring that an inspirational service is delivered at all times
• Deal with any complaints and be capable of transferring that information to the F&B Manager if you cannot find a solution
• Ensure the correct measurements and other license regulations are being followed by the team
• Work alongside the Food and Beverage manager to ensure a smooth and high quality service
• Conduct daily briefings with the team, informing them of any daily specials or important information for that shift
• Maintain staff retention

To make your life working in hospitality easier, we are proud to offer permanent roles, working straight shifts, 5 days out of 7. No split shifts to worry about! The normal hours of work are 45 each week. You will need to be flexible with the dates and times you are able to work.
