The Fairlawns Hotel are interested in hiring ambitions individuals to learn a Commis Chef role whilst working towards their Level 2 qualification. You will learn all aspects of catering in a 4* hotel with two AA rosettes.

Set in nearly 12 acres of landscaped grounds, Fairlawns Hotel & Spa is a family-run hotel near Walsall in the West Midlands. They offer four-star rooms and suites, a popular restaurant, extensive fitness and spa facilities, and events spaces for everything from intimate family dinners to lavish weddings.
Fairlawns Hotel now have a fantastic opportunity for a keen chef to join their busy kitchen team, learn the trade and gain a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control
Skills Required
Knowledge of industry and food preparation.
Previous experience in kitchens or hospitality would be an advantage.
