The Kitchen restaurant, in collaboration with James Martin, provides an informal dining experience with an open plan layout, offering our guests the chance to watch the Chef’s brigade at work. The à la carte menu features wood-fired pizzas, fruits de mer, homemade pasta and much more. Let's not forget within The Kitchen is our state of the art cookery school running daily cookery classes, too.

Aim of the Waiter role

To assist the Restaurant Manager and assistants in the organisation of service in the Restaurant 

Responsibilities of the Waiter

  • Provide an outstanding, professional level of service to guests
  • Show integrity through your menu knowledge to seek out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests
  • Take pride in preparing the restaurant setup for lunch and dinner service
  • Take and serve orders and provide any nutritional or allergen information requested
  • Clear tables in a timely and efficient manner to ensure all areas are well kept and ready for guests
  • Ensure bills are cashed with care taken over correct charging to rooms, payment methods and any discounts given
