We're a growing company passionate about good food that happens to be vegetarian and vegan!

The Gate has been one of the best vegetarian restaurants in London since our founder, Michael Daniel, and his brother opened their first restaurant in Hammersmith in 1989. We now have 4 locations across London.

We’re all about fresh, seasonal produce and friendly service and we’re now looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role to properly assist the Head Chef in directing operations and leading the teams. Knowledge and understanding of  Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards will be one of the minimum requirements. Leadership skills, personality and a strong work ethics are also required to succeed in the selection process. Good knowledge of or experience in vegetarian and vegan cuisine would be a bonus.
