Pastry Chef De Partie

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pastry Chef de Partie to join our highly successful team here at Firmdale Hotels. To be successful in this role you will need to be confident in kitchen operations and have experience working in a busy environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about pastry and will work well within a dynamic and fast paced operation, assisting with the order of service for lunch or dinner.

Working as part of our kitchen team, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills. This role gives you the opportunity to learn and develop, with the potential to progress within the company. If progression isn’t your thing, that’s fine too, we would still be interested in finding out more about you. As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will have complete ownership of your section, which will include supervising junior team members. You will also need to monitor the stock within your section, whilst keeping on top of any ordering that may be required. As standard, you will work 45 hours per week on a flexible rota, where some weekends will be required. Overtime will be paid in addition.
