Your Role

 

Social Media and Community Executive

 

We're looking for a sassy graduate copywriter/social media exec with a penchant for puns, (burger) buns, and Oxford commas to join the Byron team and own the customer-facing copy and online community management. This full-time role will be hybrid with 2-3 days in the central London office as required.

 

Responsibilities

 Social

  • Create and execute monthly content calendars, schedule and publish content across multiple social media channels (TikTok,        YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc).
  • Create new content to assist marketing campaigns
  • Write clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, website newsletters)
  • In conjunction with social agency, formulate plans and tactics for influencer outreach; identify, source, and brief influencers
  • Collate and manage user-generated content 
  • Social content ideation : write engaging, funny, responsive, and of-the-moment copy to create viral and shareable content.
Communities and feedback

  • Be the one with the “ear-to-the-wall” – gauge sentiment around the brand, using social listening tools in order to monitor              feedback and engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
  • Manage online communities 
  • Draft response and deal with customer queries across social channels and brand inboxes 
  • Monthly reporting of consumer feedback and actions taken

Website and CRM

  • Website – manage and ensure up-to-date content across both brand sites
  • Execute email newsletters as per marketing calendar : hands-on content creation and layout

Required experience  

  • 1-2+ years' experience in social media management.
  • Strong copywriting and creative writing skills: can work to a specified tone of voice and with brand-led strategic messaging.  
  • Experience with Design Software
  • Basic Videography
  • Expansive knowledge of social media platforms and their unique requirements and algorithms (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). 
  • A love of burgers, street food and internet culture
  • Native level English 
  • Creative, with a sense of humour
  • Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines.  
  • Able to work well within a team and in a fast-paced environment, with ever-changing tasks.
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Desirable but not essential: experience using social listening tools such as Pulsar, Brandwatch, or similar.
