Apprentice Brewer - Parkway Brewing Company
As an apprentice you will be working from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with a lunch break in the middle, this is to ensure that you are always supervised by one of our brewing team. Once you are a qualified brewer the shift pattern will change slightly.
Every member of our brew team does a bit of everything, so duties will include:
- Cleaning brewing equipment,
- Washing casks,
- Loading delivery vans,
- Filling casks.
All parts of the brew process as and when you have received training in:
- Writing recipes,
- Coming up with brand ideas,
- Weighing ingredients,
- Mashing in,
- Boiling the wort,
- Beer Fermentation,
- Monitoring temperatures, abvs during brewing process,
- Stock control,
- Ordering.
