WAGE ADVERTISED IS FOR 16-17 YEARS OLD, MINIUM WAGE FOR AGE IS PAID

The duties that an apprentice would be expected to take on would be

assisting the head chef inthe preparation, cooking and service of the menu including starters and desserts,

washing up,cleaning down

Maintain knowledge and abide by all health & safety and hygiene regulations

Mange portion control and food wastage

Be responsible for daily tasks like stock management and food rotation.

to be able towork efficiently and effectively in the kitchen environment.

The working week would be approximately 30-35 hours per week which would include evenings,weekends and breakfast shifts.

The starting wage would meet minimum wage requirements but if progression is being madethen this would be negotiable over time.
