Brewer Apprentice - The Belgian Brewer
- Fulfil all training and personaldevelopment obligations to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship standard
- Become competent in every step ofthe brewing process, including the intake of raw materials; all elements ofpreparation, control, processing, and filtering; the recording of the brewingprocess and the safe transfer of beer according to standard operating procedure.
- Understand and be able to packagebeer into keg, and bottle.
- Be competent with regards to CIPcleaning of all brewing plant and equipment.
- Maintain the brewing andproduction area in a clean, tidy organized and hygienic manner
- Complete all required qualitychecks and to maintain accurate written brewing records
- Engage in public-facingactivities such as Markets, Trade events and taproom sales
- Carry out any other duties asrequired
- 24 to 30 hours per week.
Key experience
- Previous brewing knowledge is notnecessary but may be advantageous.
- Have good IT skills, have theability to meticulously follow processes and procedures and demonstrate anaptitude for technical and mechanical skills
