Chef de Partie

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef de Partie to join Head Chef Stefano Turconi and our Back of House team at Franco’s.

Benefits:

-          £32,000 to £34,000 per annum or up to £13.68 per hour
The restaurant is closed on Sundays, Bank holidays, 10 days over Christmas and full Easter weekend

-          Approx. 48 hours a week Monday to Saturday - 8 shifts with 2 days off

Company:

Franco’s first opened in 1946 and is considered by many to be one of the first Italian restaurants in London. The restaurant’s sister restaurants are Wiltons also on Jermyn Street and Locket’s on St James’s Street. All are managed by Director Jason Phillips, who’s long list of achievements includes the Savoy, C London and The Avenue.
The restaurant compromises of a bar area, main dining room and a basement area which can be used as two Private Dining rooms or additional seating for the restaurant.

Ideal Candidate:

-          At least 1 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar establishment

-          Looking for their next challenge

-          Have a good level of spoken English

-          Experience of catering for up to 80 covers in one service

-          Enthusiastic & eager to learn new cooking techniques

-          Imaginative & creative

-          Will coordinate daily task with the Sous & Head Chefs

-          Will takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to

meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant

-          Will ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are always of the highest quality
