Event Manager

As an Event Manager, you will effectively manage and sell the private dining space within your portfolio of restaurants.

Understanding your client’s requirements, you will communicate effectively with the onsite restaurant team ensuring the expectation is delivered whilst maintaining the excellent service that our collection is known for. Together with the Events team you will handle all customer enquiries and ensure conversion targets are achieved on an ongoing basis.

This role is located in London’s Fitzrovia, our central hub, sees a collection of diverse expertise and backgrounds come together where new challenges and successes are shared each day. We are the UK’s fastest growing restaurant group; our expansion is rooted from the success of our people.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
• Full management and co-ordination of all events from enquiry to the day of event This will utilise effective diary management skills which will enable timely follow up of enquiries and completion of client contracts in line with SOPs.
• Identify potential business development opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with the restaurant team to maximise revenue and optimise occupancy of the private dining space.
• Recognises opportunities to maximise revenue by up-selling and offering enhancements to create a better overall event.
• Follow up on client feedback after the event in a timely manner ensuring any negative feedback is effectively handled.
• Effectively cross-sell enquiries across the Caprice Holdings and Ivy Collection ensuring that they are fully considered.
• Leads pre-event function sheet meetings with the onsite restaurant team.
• Attends monthly restaurant management meetings and provides relevant Private Dining information as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• A good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and related PC packages is essential for this role.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
• Effective decision-making skills.
• Ability to acquire and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
