Compliance Manager

Compliance & Auditing Manager - Moorfield Eye Hospital

£32,000 per annum, 40 hours per week

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Compliance and Auditing Manager to work alongside, the unit Senior Management Team to ensure that the systems and information relating to quality and Health and Safety (H&S) satisfy the auditing requirements of the contract.

To take control of all quality, H&S and monitoring requirements and to set the benchmark for quality and carry out relevant training to ensure consistency of approach across the contract.

To liaise with all key stakeholders to develop adequate systems, and then to support the Senior Management Team to implement, and then monitor said systems.

Key Accountabilities:
  • To support the Health and Safety champion in ensuring H&S compliance and quality records are maintained.
  • To be aware of the responsibility of all employees to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients visitors and staff.
  • To ensure quality plans are set up to deliver the requirements of the contract specification.
  • To report, and action, any deficiencies in quality standard to the relevant supervisor and manager
  • To produce and report Management Information relating to quality and H&S as required.
  • Monitoring systems include the review of labour hours against those originally projected in the contract submission.
  • The development of reports that highlight areas for efficiency within the operation as a whole.
  • To ensure team are supported, trained, coached and developed in all areas of quality assurance as applicable.
  • Support HR Manager in monitoring Labour turnover
  • Support the contract Succession plan
  • Ensure everyone is trained and adheres to all H&S and FS policies
  • To support action plans arising from ‘Your Voice'

Personal Specification:

  • Auditing or equivalent Quality Assurance background.
  • Previous exposure to Public Sector environments
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Results Orientated
  • Taking accountability for actions
  • DBS Cleared to enhanced status.
  • Experience in auditing
  • Negotiating skills.
  • Exposure or experience in achieving ISO standards
  • High level of I.T Skills
