About the Pub

The Baker Arms is a characterful, Grade II Listed 16th century Cotswold Inn, located in the centre of the very desirable Somerford Keynes and within the very popular Cotswold Water Park area. This is a very well-established business with the majority of trade made up of tourists to the area who visit throughout the year. The pub is located on the through road to the main village and therefore provides plenty of opportunity to capture local trade. Upon the entering the property you are greeted by the lovely bar area, which is full of traditional character, with quarry tiled floors, an open fireplace, beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. There is a separate dining area to the rear that leads out to the mature garden. The traditional bar servery with timber clad frontage, hosts cask ales and a simple back bar with free pour spirits. There is seating for approximately 45 in this main room. There are an additional 25 covers in the dining room to the rear, with large tables able to serve larger family dining. A mix of carpet and wood flooring gives a more modern and contemporary feel to this area. The fully fitted trade kitchen is capable to deliver a quality food menu. Externally, there is a fully enclosed beer garden to the rear with mature planting and a large patio area with seating for approximately 60. Along the side of the property, and adjacent to the main entrance, is further seating and opposite a further lawned area accommodating another 30. A large car park is to the side and rear catering for approximately 40 vehicles.
