About the Pub
The White Horse is located in a greatly populated residential area with plenty of local amenities, on the A336 Ringwood Road between Totton and Cadnam on the outskirts of New Forest. It is a busy through road for local commuters avoiding the busy dual carriageways leading into Southampton and Ringwood which are approximately seven miles away. Totton Station is the nearest railway, and the nearest bus stop to The White Horse is just 200 metres away. The pub is opposite Netley Marsh C of E primary school and within a mile of the M27 which runs east to west along the south coast. The property is split between a restaurant and bar operation. The L shaped bar complements the layout of the internal trade area, at the top of the L is the restaurant. The restaurant consists of up to 40 covers with the bar area occupying the remainder of the property that is currently set up as an entertainment/community driven area. To enhance the community aspect there is space for darts, a pool table and an AWP. Two large televisions currently occupy the bar area. The premises licence currently permits the operation of live entertainment. This is a traditional style pub with a beamed interior, and a mixture of stone and wooden flooring, and wooden tables and chairs. The property boasts a main road facing patio which has up to 30 covers available and spans the side perimeter with the provision of bench seating, and tables and chairs. A smaller area to the side of the property can accommodate 12 covers.

Regional Manager's Thoughts
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced publican or new starter to continue the success of this predominantly wet-led pub. Food is of course a large driver of trade and should continue to do so. In the surrounding area are both value and premium operations therefore the new publican should pitch the offer accordingly to differentiate. This is a fantastic venue, perfect for a drink, lunch, or dinner amongst friends. The outgoing publican has looked after his customers very well.
Surrounding Area
Situated on the edge of the New Forest, the White Horse appeals to walkers, day trippers, and locals alike. Well-known for its range of cask ales, ciders, and outstanding food, the pub requires an enthusiastic and energetic publican who can set very high standards and exceed customer expectations. The layout is suited to both drinking and dining with its expansive bar and dining room, and is also the perfect space to host all occasions from birthdays to wakes. The outdoor patio spans the front and side of the building offering generous socialising space. This fantastic, family-friendly country tavern offers much to be admired.
