We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced ChefManagerto join ourreliefteam working across the Midlands mainly with the addition of 1 site in each of these locations, Lancashire, Lincolnshire,Bedfordshire andSuffolk.

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Chef Manager to be responsible for all aspects of managing the high level of delivery and expectations across every site they work at. Ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, you'll maximise the performance of your team. Leading by example and setting high standards.

  • To provide management support for catering operations including running of site cater services when required
  • To support the operations team in ensuring that catering outlets consistently adhere to the company policies and procedures relating to the use of nominated suppliers, and carry out discussions and negotiations with suppliers, as requested
  • To promote the Eat Well Live Well concept within all units and during client and customer contact
  • Carry out checks and audits in the areas of food standards.
  • Support operations staff in the handover of new units, ensuring that all controls and systems are introduced
  • Support catering managers in all areas of their management of the catering establishment to ensure that the operational standards are maintained and developed
  • To ensure all aspects of the Catering Managers function is carried out whilst covering absences
  • Previous contract catering experience preferred
  • Previous chef background required with multi site catering or chef manager experience
  • Strong culinary experience
  • We are looking for a real foodie with a passion for innovation and driving food standards
  • Experience in a management role
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexible in approach to their working hours and environment
  • Required to travel as part of the role
  • Self-motivated and ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Understanding of Health, Safety and the Environment principles
  • Motivated by a passion for quality and, service delivery
  • Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills
  • Computer literate
