At our proper pub sites we pride ourselves on providing a proper home for live sport, serving a proper pint and consistently offering proper pub food. We aim to create a proper, traditional pub atmosphere for our guests. Proper pubs are transparent and simple. What you see is what you get in every venue. The Station is a unique building originally built as a hotel in 1870, with unusual architecture and six entrances. The pub boasts original stained-glass windows, a lounge area for quiet drinks, a dining area for meals, and a sports area with 11 flatscreen TVs, a large projector, pool table, and dart board. It is dog-friendly and actively involved in the local community, hosting events and supporting charities and organizations. The pub also has an upstairs function room called the Terry Jones suite, which can be booked for a variety of events such as birthday parties, meals, conferences, and weddings, it features its own bar with a selection of premium beers, wines, and spirits.
