Kitchen Assistant / Production Chef Apprenticeship

From friendly, old-fashioned customer service, to a first-class dining experience, flawless guest rooms, and events planned with the finest attention to detail, every guest experience will be outstanding and memorable.

Duties will include:

  • Assist in setting up the kitchen, ensuring that accessories are in place
  • Maintain the kitchen by cleaning prep areas before and after use and making sure that all knives and critical equipment are clean
  • Monitor side dish ingredients and report inventory levels to the Chef or Sous Chef at regular intervals throughout the night
  • Taking an ongoing inventory of ingredients to ensure nothing is running low, cutting up vegetables, preparing side dishes and getting salads ready for special events and regular dining hours
  • Work with wait staff to ensure that each order has the proper types and amounts of side dishes
  • Preparation dessert dishes for banquets and ensure that any special requests are taken care of
