Junior HR Business Partner

We have a fantastic vacancy for a proactive and enthusiastic Junior HR Business Partner to support our pub and operational teams. This varied role would suit someone who is passionate about our industry, guests and people as well as their own personal development.


We are looking for someone who can drive business performance by working collaboratively with people managers by providing sound HR advice and solutions. You will need to build strong relationships with your stakeholders and support them with embedding their people plans and strategy.  This will involve ensuring we retain and develop the best talent to ensure we maintain strong succession pipelines for our key roles.


This role reports to the HR Business Partner and is an agile role, so you will need to be able to travel and to manage your own diary to suit business needs. Our Pub Support Centre is located in Wolverhampton, and you must live within commutable distance, with the expectation to work from the office at least one day a week.

 

Job Role:   
• Build relationships with your stakeholders which enable you to influence and support managers to ensure they take ownership and accountability for the performance and development of their teams
• Support the HR Business Partner with embedding the Performance, Career and Development Review cycle in your business area
• Conduct people reviews with General Managers in your area, sharing insight and actions with our Area Operations Managers
• Drive and embed succession planning in conjunction with Area Operations Managers and General Managers in your business area, working with the Business Partner to spot trends and identify resolutions
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their resourcing requirements and in conjunction with the Resourcing Advisor co-ordinate recruitment activity
• Collate data and provide insight to support the HR Business Partnering team and leaders with their decision-making process
• Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the business, analyse the data and share relevant trends and work with managers on actions
• Work in collaboration with the wider HR teams to support the execution of the People strategy
• Provide advice and guidance to line managers and employees as required
• Attend and contribute to relevant management meetings
• Deputise for the HRBP when required

 

Ideal Candidate:
• Enjoy working as part of a supportive, forward thinking and busy team
• Able to produce and analyse data, spot trends and make recommendations for improvement
• Educated to degree standard or equivalent (with CIPD accreditation a bonus)

• Experience in a generalist HR role would be beneficial

• Confident and engaging personality with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

• Passionate and driven by results
• Able to positively challenge stakeholders and peers
• Have a full UK driving license
