About the Pub
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a beautiful 19th century Cotswold village inn and restaurant in the affluent village of Bisley close to the market town of Stroud and within close proximity of Gloucester and Cirencester. Situated at the heart of the village of Bisley, it is also surrounded by similar villages, Thrupp, Chalford, Bussage and Eastcombe being some. The village is very active with cricket teams, an amateur theatrical society, playgroups etc. the pub attracts locals, walkers and passing trade in the summer. Internally, the pub is well-presented and boasts the charm of a country inn with rustic and original features, such as the exposed brickwork and Inglenook fireplace, creating an inviting and relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy a drink and meal. The main bar retains the traditional style décor with modern touches and character seating accommodates 32 covers. There is wooden flooring throughout and a mixture of loose tables and chairs in the main dining area provides room for up to 25 covers. A light and airy skittle alley and function room seats up to 100 and is located at the rear of the pub with doors opening out into the garden.
