Events and Administration Assistant / Business Administrator Apprenticeship

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with eventscommunications (Writing and sending emails; Liaising with guests, speakers, and event venues by phone or in person).
  • Assisting with accountmanagement of sponsors and clients.
  • Gathering facts andcollating information in response to a brief or request.
  • Responding torequests from the different teams (external and in-house) and carrying out avariety of daily and weekly tasks to assist in the planning and preparation ofan event.
  • Aiding onsite eventsincluding, but not limited to, registering delegates, and assisting the onsiteevents team.
  • Using softwarepackages to create word processing and spreadsheet documents, also guest lists,name cards and alike.
  • Contributing toreports, event project plans and written presentations for clients.
  • Using in-house digitalsystems, databases, and bespoke events systems.
  • Preparing invoicerequests.
  • Promoting the aims andobjectives of the Institute of Hospitality at all times.
