Liban Tapas is a family run business serving quality Lebanese food and drinks in South Woodford. For Lebanese people there is nothing better than sharing food and drinks with friends while surrounded music and great ambience. At Liban Tapas our Lebanese food is fresh, healthy and delicious with a mixture of Mediterranean and Eastern flavours. We serve tapas and wraps, marinated grilled meat, and Lebanese beer and wine.

We are looking for waiters/waitresses to come and join our family and enjoy the food, music and friendly atmosphere. Both, part-time and full-time waitress & waiter positions available in South Woodford.

WAITER/ WAITRESS KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing the table bookings
• Greeting customers as they arrive and showing them to their table
• Giving out menus and taking orders
• Dealing with bill payments
• Making sure tables are clean and tidy, and ready for service
• Any other duties required for the needs of the business.

WAITER / WAITRESS KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• English and Maths (GCSE A-C) (or equivalent UK qualification) desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of middle east culture, cuisine and language would be an advantage although not necessary
• Experience in a branded and/or quality full service restaurant a distinct plus
• Impeccable waiting skills
• A great team player
• The ability to remain calm under pressure is a must
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good computer skills (able to use Microsoft Office) are essential
• 1 years’ experience working in a similar role is a must
• Well presented appearance
• Respectful attitude to guest and team and an understanding of equality and diversity is essential
