Bar Manager required – Live In – New opening of Sports Bar

All our Bars are a multiple pub company with 17 sites in the south east but mainly in greater London. We are always looking at new sites as we are a company in growth. We take great pride in what we do and we only achieve this because of the great teams we have in place throughout our estate. We believe that it is our people that make the difference and we would like to take you on this journey with us. A very exciting opportunity has opened up in our Watford site. This is a fantastic opportunity in this venue which is under refurbishment and due to open in early December. This site will have a considerable investment and will be beautifully decorated throughout with a great food offer. This site will also boast several TV screens and will show all sporting events as well as promoting live entertainment. With a great selection of different premium spirits and craft beers we are very excited about the opening of this site and we are looking for the right person to operate and succeed in this venue.

This wonderfully located pub is just a short bus ride from the centre of Watford and the local train station, while being surrounded by shops and businesses as this site is situated on a very busy road.

The ideal candidate will have

• Good organisational skills and good communicator.
• Approachable and friendly.
• Keen to continue self-development and ambition for growth and promotion.
• Have experience in working with food.
• Ability to display a real passion for customer service.
• Be able to manage a team where you know how to get the best out of your staff while also maintaining good working relationships.
• Be in control of all aspects of the business including stock holding, stock control, great service, social media presence etc.

A manager with a strong track record who is able to adapt to new trading patterns, make strong decisions, be able to manage a team and connect with the guests and the retail team.

A keen interest in sport is an advantage.
