Right place. Right time. Right stuff. A career at Five Guys can help you discover what you’re really made of.
We’re the burger restaurant with the uncomplicated formula: burgers and fries cooked to perfection, with no frozen ingredients. And we’ve stuck to the same ‘perfect and serve’ philosophy since our family business began in 1986.
These days, we’re still just as much a family as we always have been. We look after each other. We have fun. We have tons of integrity. We’re enthusiastic. We’re competitive. And we just get it done – whatever the challenge. It's called having the right stuff - and if you’ve got it too, you could join us
As a Learning and Development Partner you’ll support the design, delivery and driving of L&D initiatives linked to a highly ambitious people agenda for the UK. the Learning & Development Partner will support crew members through to our business leaders on their development journey via digital tools, regional, central, and virtual workshops. To ensure success the Learning & Development Partner will need to deeply understand operations and build strong, credible relationships with a consistent focus on “going above and beyond” for our people.
Ideally, you’ll have experience in a multi-site business, you’ll know that continuous development of leadership capability is key to unlocking performance at store level. Which is why we’ll need you to effectively plan, deliver and evaluate engaging L&D programmes that’ll equip our people with the skill, insight and confidence that’ll help them understand the benefits of positive leadership, good performance management and communication. You’ll Promote a culture of continual learning and development to support both the operations and office teams to continue to achieve our desire to be as famous for customer service as we are for burgers and fries
At Five Guys we believe in the value of getting it done, so we’ll need you to deliver L&D support that is challenging, fun and has clear benefits for our people – you’ll provide them with the tools to help them be better at what they do. You’ll have experience in designing effective L&D programmes that you’ll align to our career path, allowing our people to take charge of their own development and ensure they have access to the right development, at the right time.
You’ll need to be comfortable challenging conventional thinking and have the ability to positively influence stakeholders. You’ll be joining a people team at the start of our organisational learning and development journey, which why we think this the right opportunity for an L&D Partner who wants to make a positive difference on the lives of our people and our customers – if you do too, you’re probably made of the Right Stuff to be a Learning and Development Partner at Five Guys.
