Admiral Taverns are looking for a licensee to run The Keelboat in Fatfield, Washington.

The Keelboat is a large pub located in the centre of Fatfield, Washington. Situated on a busy pedestrian route the Keelboat is in a key position in the heart of the village and attracts local and passing trade. Upon entering the pub, you enter the main trade area complete with a saloon style bar fitted with a great selection of core & premium lagers, cider and traditional ales. There’s also a well-stocked back bar of wines and spirits. The far end of the pub is home to a games area complete with a pool table and darts board. Behind the bar is a room that’s currently being used as a food preparation area which could easily be converted back to a seating area for private functions. The Keelboat has a good size trade kitchen that can be used for a small quality food offering for the locals. To the side of the pub there is a beer garden that can be utilised for customers to have a quiet pint during the warmer months.

The Keelboat is a popular pub with the locals. The licensee will need to be a friendly face behind the bar and offer a warm welcome for new and existing customers. A good business plan will need to be in place and a passion for continuing to offer a quality food & drink offering, pub sports and friendly atmosphere to the Keelboats customers. With the right licensee in place Admiral Taverns are planning to complete a significant refurbishment of the Keelboat.
