The Verdant Seafood Bar is hiring!
Now accepting applications for a General Manager - this is a full time position and a rare opportunity to lead the team at one of the UK's most unique and highest rated taprooms, representing Verdant Brewing Co in the heart of beautiful Falmouth Town.
The Seafood Bar is a small but busy restaurant / bar. Serving up fresh seafood alongside 8 lines of Verdant Brewing Co’s beers. During these COVID times we have found our feet by offering both bookings alongside walk-ins. We now need a fresh pair of hands to take over the role as manager. You will need to be experienced in hospitality
management. The Seafood Bar prides itself on offering a top quality experience. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere coupled with Grade A food and drinks. Everyone is welcome and everyone is equal. We have very limited seating available within our little bunker, but we ensure that everyone is welcomed, serviced and leaves with a smile.
Your role will be to ensure that this can happen within a COVID safe environment. We will need you to manage the stock, taking delivery from the brewery amongst other suppliers weekly. A good knowledge and understanding of beer is essential. We are working hard on offering many more beers from around the world. A level one Cicerone award would be an advantage. Alongside this you will be required to ensure that the bar is staffed and that staff have their rota’s. All in all we need a capable pair of hands to manage our little gem in the heart of Falmouth.
You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the business, working closely with the Head Chef and with Verdant to maintain high quality service and atmosphere and to provide the freshest craft beer and seafood currently known to science in a casual, lively & respectful environment.
