Admiral Taverns are looking for a licensee to run The Maindee Hotel, Newport.

The Maindee Hotel is a popular vibrant pub located in the large, inner-city commercial and residential area of Maindee in Newport, South Wales. The Pub sits on the corner of Chepstow Road within walking distance of local shops and amenities. Newport train station is less than a mile away on foot and the university is just over the river. With good access to public transport links and main roads, the Maindee benefits from plenty of passing trade. The Maindee is currently a wet led pub and is supported by the local community throughout the year. Several sports teams play out of the Maindee throughout the week which generates additional income from both the home and away teams. The bar hosts both a games area with a pool table and dart board, as well as a comfy lounge area. The Maindee Hotel also benefits from five letting rooms which have a communal kitchen and two bathrooms. With a small galley kitchen, the right licensee could introduce a small food offering to generate extra revenue.

Admiral are seeking a new licensee who will work hard to maintain the already strong links the Maindee Hotel has with the local community. They will not only continue to develop the weekly events and adapt to trends and fully utilise the letting rooms to be the ultimate host and maximise this pubs potential, they will also have lots of ideas of their own to ensure the Maindee Hotel is the talk of the town.
