Pub Overview
Fantastic Traditional Pub in Scarborough
The Cask Inn is a traditional mainstream pub located in the popular seaside town of Scarborough and within a short 10-minute walk of the seafront. Scarborough sits on the North Sea Coast in North Yorkshire and is the largest holiday resort on the Yorkshire Coast. The pub sits in a residential area just outside the centre of the town, with a variety of guest houses and hotels surrounding it. As a result, the Cask Inn enjoys good core local support with additional trade in the summer months and from functions.
The Cask Inn currently provides a pub classic food offer, served alongside its predominant wet-trade, which includes a selection of cask ales. The pub shows live sports, hosts the Scarborough Hockey Club and utilises the function room for a variety of events, from private functions to live music, including popular Jazz nights. The current offer works well, but there is opportunity for the new operator to introduce some fresh ideas to drive additional trade.
Experienced Business Operator with a Passion for People Wanted
We are looking for an operator with experience in operating a multi-faceted business and able to engage with both the local community and a wider audience. Simple food knowledge is preferable, but you must have a strong marketing flair coupled with good business understanding.
