Pub Overview

The New Inn is located in the picturesque village of Thornton-le-Dale, close to Pickering and Dalby Forest. The pub is surrounded by shops, food and retail outlets and mixed housing. The pub benefits from being one of 4 pubs found in an area of around 2,000 adults. The customer base is made up of discerning locals and tourists / day trippers to the region.

Available on our foundation tenancy agreement. Click here for more information on this agreement . The potential of this pub lies in maintaining a strong food & drinksoffer. The pub has a strong wet trade with a large cask following, primarily from Theakston Brewery. It also has a well-established food trade, mainly offering home cooked, quality food at a price that encourages repeat custom.

The future operator will need to fully integrate 3 rd party accommodation suppliers with their own website listings and repeat customers booking directly. Website and social media marketing is crucial in making this site more of a success. The right operator will also have the opportunity to develop a rhythm of the week.
