Chef Apprenticeship
Production Chef Level 2 to support Head Chef and chef team. 35 hours per week over 7 day period, rotas subject to change as part of a rota system. Early start 6am / 7am / 8am / 9am. Late shift finishes no later than 6pm (7.5 hour shifts which includes unpaid break).
- To help receipt deliveries, check quality of products, storage of products, preparation of fresh products (meats, fish, salads, vegetables) to follow recipes, cook menu items, display menu items for service
- To support making grab and go recipes, baguettes, toasties, paninis and pizzas
- To support making grab and go recipes potted desserts, potted fruit and freshly cooked bakery items (cakes & muffins).
- Work varied shifts to enable breakfast production knowledge, lunch service knowledge, dinner service knowledge.
- To complete all required online e-learning for modules required for Chefs including, Food Safety Level 1 & 2, Health & Safety Level 1 & 2. COSHH, Manual Handling, Fire Training, First aid, Temperature Control, Handwashing, Labelling. Various other company compliance modules.
- To complete all required Apprenticeship learning, webinars, online courses, course work.
