Hartford Hall

Hartford Hall is situated in the Cheshire village of Hartford, just outside Northwich and is a Grade 11 listed building, originally being a nunnery and former manor house dating back to the 16th century.

It is a charming hotel and pub that it is full of character. The premises has retained most of its original quirks, including charming oak beams and open fires, and features a modern bar, dining room, private dining space and covered outdoor terrace.

It has 20 boutique bedrooms, one being a suite bedroom with its own enclosed outdoor area.

The outdoor area is also stunning with a charming lit garden next to a pond with covered seating which is perfect for the coming spring and summer months.

 

Requirements of the Duty Manager:

We are looking for an organised, dedicated Duty Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient running of our restaurant, bar, and hotel.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a hospitality environment. Our perfect match will be outgoing, excited by hospitality and can organise and support the front of house team throughout any service.

We are looking for someone good at keeping cool in a busy working environment and able to think on their feet, problem solve and come up with ideas to improve whenever possible. A passion for customer service is a must!

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve issues or complaints brought by customers.
  • Have good communication skills with customers and staff.
  • Provide a service to customers that is beyond their expectations.
  • Be a role model for employees.
  • Understand what makes a successful business.
