Assistant Manager

We serve traditional pub grub and mouth-watering specials, all day every day. Be sure to arrive early when the sun is out as we have the number one sun terrace in Manchester overlooking the Bridgewater canal.

Rain Bar is now recruiting for a second Assistant Manager to join the management team, supporting the first Assistant and General Managers with the running of this busy city centre site. 

As an Assistant Manager you’ll know how to get the best from your team by offering great service to customers, running shifts and motivating your team. You’ll be comfortable working across all areas where needed, from helping out in the kitchen to pulling pints behind the bar. This is a great opportunity for a General Manager in the making and although we want you to be yourself it’s key that customer service along with creating memorable events is something you are passionate about. You’ll be an expert in communication and know how to work well as part of a team as well as taking the lead and managing all aspects of the site in the General Manager's absence.

You’ll have previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a similar hospitality or retail role and have confidence in yourself to have the ability to develop to the next level.
