We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef Manager to help us create exceptional food experiences for Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Management of health & safety procedures and standards at all times including adherence to food information regulations and food safety checks
• Management of the catering team to ensure all food production, service and financial targets are met
• Manages the menu cycle, food production planning, food purchasing and stock management
• Manages the team through effective communication & performance management
• Recruits, trains & develops the team, supporting the company Apprenticeship programme where applicable
• Manages the cleanliness of the kitchen and food service area
• Completes all bookwork and reporting as required
• Performs other general tasks as reasonably requested

Who you are:
Our ideal Chef Manager will:

Required

• Good cooking skills
• Good business knowledge of a food service operation
• Strong communication skills, able to engage and motive others
• Previous supervisory or management experience within a kitchen environment

Desirable

• NVQ Lvl2/3 in professional cookery or equivalent
• Basic or Intermediate food hygiene Lvl2/3
