Marketing Manager

What you'll be doing:
We are searching for an extraordinary, forward thinking and cutting-edge experienced influencer who shows that little bit of obsession towards their role and our business/clients.

Your key relationships will lie with the Managing Director andGeneral Managers, so ideally you will hold strong management relationship skills.

You will work autonomously with the wider Compass Team and Jockey Club Catering (JCC) to ensure that active communication and marketing programs are devised and delivered.

You will be hot on social media, not afraid to getinvolved withthe racecoursesand have an exceptional grasp of all online marketing as well as traditional media avenues and design marketing.

You will need a hands-on approach, attention to detail and be comfortable at communicating at all levels. A ‘fresh thinker' and ideally witha similar food and drink/hospitality background. You will bringnew ideas to the table and managethesefrom start to finish.

As ourMarketing Manager at Jockey Club Catering (JCC), you will be a key part of the marketing team and will contribute to and develop marketing and communication campaigns to promote JCC and JCC's clients. This a varied role, which includes elements of:
  • Marketing planning and strategy

  • Design
  • Social media management
More about the role:
  • Create awareness of and develop the JCC brand
  • Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer and client relationships
  • Work with the Managing Director of JCC to develop marketing, content and communication plans ensuring the brand connection between JCC and Levy/Compass and ensuring there is an interrelationbetween the businesses on social media platforms
  • You will work within the Sales & Marketing calendar, not only for race days but also for other events, such as Christmas etc
  • Develop and research PR opportunities and communicate with PR agency
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • Produce creative content, including menus, digital assets and social content
  • Run social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement
  • Liaise with partners to organise photoshoots
  • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • Develop relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
