SUPERVISORs / Assistant Managers

We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic supervisors and assistant managers to support our management team in the day to day running of our pub. We specialise in beer, charcuterie, cheese, gin and whisky - a fondness for these is definitely a plus!

This role would best suit anyone with previous experience in a similar role, or experience at a supervisor level in a different industry but with a love for what we do. We are also keen to hear from anyone with industry experience who is looking to make the next step up in their career.

Basics of the role will include, but not limited to:
Everything we expect of our bartenders plus occasional food service and handling of meats, cheeses and other items on our menu; supporting your managers in their day to day roles & helping to develop the team around you. There will also be aspects of maintaining health & safety/fire/food safety standards in line with our legal requirements; cellar management; in-house events; staff training and motivation; drinking responsibly, eating tasty food and being passionate about it in the process!

The successful applicant will ideally have a background in hospitality, with ideally 6 months experience at supervisor or management level. Experience or an understanding of the world of Craft Beer, Gin & Whisky is also required. The ideal candidate will also have experience of cellar work and you should possess delegation and leadership skills and the ability to lead a team, support your managers and staff & deliver top customer experience.
