The City Arms is a Social Pub & Kitchen Site, with consistent sales all year round but has a great uplift during student terms. This is an excellent opportunity for a General Manager to make it their own by splashing their personality over it. It is in a great place for someone to come in and drive sales with new ideas but must understand the importance of growing the team and training within.

There are exciting times ahead with plans in place for an investment at the end of 2024, to support growing the business.

The City Arms is a one bar operation, with a cosy and warm feel, but this will be improved with the upcoming investment. The site sits on one level, with a large garden. The cosy corners offer a great opportunity for table bookings for sports teams and special occasions. It has Sky sports with three sky boxes, so has lots of flexibility to show variety of sport at once, across the multiple large screens. A Stable weekly quiz also brings in customers all year round, along with Drag Act and Karaoke which drives the late-night experience.

As a General Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
