A little about the role….

Slug and Lettuce Nottingham Corner House is a one bar operation, which has recently benefited from a significant investment. This perfectly formed venue comes packed with desirable pre-booked area, Including separate Masterclass station. Pre-Booked Sales play a huge part to the continued success of this venue and the layout really helps deliver the guest experience here!

Situated in the centre of Nottingham, Slug and Lettuce does have it all, delivering a strong food offering over a Cocktail or two, an evening meet up with your besties to share a tree and a platter, through to the weekends when the Town and Slug really come to life!

Operating until late on a Friday & Saturday where we also have our resident DJ, we really cater to the Party atmosphere when those hen parties and celebratory groups descend into the city, Slug is ready to deliver the experience.

Our ideal General Manager Candidate….

Due to internal development, we are now looking for the next superstar to take the reins at this Jewel of a site!

With a late license Slug becomes the place to be seen! Saturdays are the real party here, starting from 10am with breakfast through to Brunch with the girls – there really is only one venue to be in!

Our ideal General Manager candidate will have experience in operating a similar venue with a clear understanding of what a great late-night offering looks like. You will be able to demonstrate a strong background in food and guest experience in a similar business that consistently delivers in excess of 10k per week. You will also be able to demonstrate how you maintain the premium operation with impeccable 5-star service and standards.

To deliver all this and continue the successful growth of this site we’re looking for a General Manager who really understands what a quality offer looks like, has excellent communication skills, is able to deliver consistent food and drink to brand spec, have outstanding operational standards, and a passion for fantastic genuine customer service. As General Manager, you will be also able to drive sales through innovative marketing, maximising the growing pre-booked sales trend and developing reasons to visit by using social media to its’ full potential. All this alongside being an inspirational leader who can really develop the team around them to deliver the most hospitable experience on the high street!
